Friends, Atlanta friends specifically, but everybody sure why not, If I may promote for a moment - let me share with you the great fun I’ve been having in Juliana Finch’s new band. We’ve been getting together for the last month or two creating a mix of originals and covers in the grand old Irish-American folk tradition, and I can happily say my banjo and I are outclassed on all sides by lovely and brilliant musicians. I seem to be getting away with it though. This is a link to the facebook event page for our first show, which is in Twains in Decatur, Georgia on Thursday, December 15th. It’s free in and will be loads of fun.
This is my first job as a banjo player in this country and I am CHUFFED to play in a full band again.
Also, my sister had a kid the other day! Welcome to the family, Dillon, your first banjo is only around the corner.
